Episode 47. November 29th, 2015. A few topics this week, starting with Shuhei Yoshida (President of Sony Worldwide Studios) tweet about PC/Mac Remote Play for PS4. We discuss what that could mean for those who travel with their PS4s and how it could work. We also talk about the PS2 emulation, as referenced by the Digital Foundry writeup via Eurogamer. Comparing the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 versus the PS4’s ability to (presumably) emulate PS2 games is a gamechanger, but we just don’t know enough about the catalog or even how it fully works to make a sound decision. Hopefully we hear more at PSX this upcoming weekend. We end on discussing Black Friday deals and how this year it didn’t feel like there was any crazy amount of good buys to grab. Also game of the year prospects, which we will cover on next week’s podcast. Probably.
