andrewComments Off on Thumper Releases to NA Region A Few Days Early
Dropping a few days ahead of schedule, Thumper will be available for PS4 and Steam users in North America TODAY, October 10th. The stores should update around 3PM PST and it will be $19.99 for both Steam and PS4. This comes as a surprise to those who’ve been waiting for Thumper and gives some the ability to play a bit sooner. All other regions for PS4 will see the game available on October 13th.
Thumper will also support PS4 Pro on day one as well. The PS4 Pro will render Thumper up to 4K resolution (no upscaling at all) for the very best super high gloss HD experience. The PS4 Pro will also enhance the VR rendering quality while keeping the 90fps frame-rate.
PC VR support
Support for Oculus and Vive VR headsets will come to Thumper later this year. Unfortunately I don’t have any further information for you all.
In case you weren’t aware after reading all that, Thumper is a rhythm violence game by Drool releasing on PS4 (including PSVR support) and Steam. It’s classic rhythm-action, high speed, and brutal physicality. You are a space beetle. Brave the hellish void and confront a maniacal giant head from the future. I got to play this on PSVR at PAX East earlier this year and was super blown away by the experience. It’s fast, it’s fun, and it’s loud. Get yourself a good pair of headphones and really immerse yourself in the experience.

So I’ve played some card based games before, and I’m sure you have too. But this one is also on iOS, so you can bounce between playing on the go, and playing at home. Summoner’s Fate combines both RTS and deck building in a really nice way that felt really great and enjoyable to play. […]
So if you’re not familiar with Skreens, it’s basically a set-top box that allows you to control multiple HDMI inputs via one TV while still controlling each individual source and adjusting them as you desire. Instead of having to change inputs on your TV, Skreens allows you to have all those inputs on the same […]
