Episode 59. February 28th, 2016. On the eve of the leap year day, we took some time to reflect on one of our favorite game series, Pokémon. February 26th, 1996 saw the release of Red and Green in Japan (it was 1998 that the US was graced with Red/Blue’s presence) and we run through the timeline of Pokémon games courtesy of Polygon’s timeline. Turns out there were way more games than Andrew realized, given that he’s been so absent of the series in recent years. We end up discussing some other video game things as well, but Pokémon was the main focus of this episode. Enjoy.
