Dying Light was and is one of my sleeper hits of 2015. Techland has announced that The Following expansion to Dying Light will release within the first three months of 2016, Q1. Below is an excerpt from a message sent by producer Tymon Smektala:
“So since Gamescom 2015, we revealed quite a bit about our upcoming expansion: the vast countryside map, the customizable dirt buggy, a new story and more… Today we finally know that Dying Light: The Following will launch within the first three months of 2016. This gives us enough time to put in all the content and surprises we have planned for you guys….”
The long awaited dirt buggy will finally arrive, and I for one an excited to be running down zombies with it. Additional story is always great, as by now you’ve probably run through the story once or twice and done a fair amount of side quests (perhaps all of them) in anticipation of more content. Well, the wait is nearly over.
The Following expansion has a price tag of $14.99 which is more than fair, and for Season Pass holders it will be free. Pretty awesome for the Season Pass holders. Check out the teaser trailer on the release date below.
