Episode 86. August 20th, 2017. Another Sunday Sunday Sunday and we re-connect the Disconnected Gamers for another podcast about gaming and life. First up on the discussion block is the alleged PSN Hack that occurred today in which tweets were sent out and posts were made on the Facebook page saying that a hacker group had hacked into the PSN and taken information. The positive side of this (if it’s legitimate) is that they claim to be an “ethical” hacking group and want to help strengthen networks, not ransom them for money. I’d still go ahead and set up 2-Step on your PSN account and maybe change the ol’ password.
We also discuss some of the announcements from Xbox’s Gamescom conference, like the new Xbox One X special editions for Minecraft and the Project Scorpio edition. There is also some neat stuff coming from ID @ Xbox as well, so be sure to keep an eye out for that if you’re into the smaller indie titles.
Rounding out the episode Andrew leads us on a tangent that started with talking about Zelda on the switch. We can’t figure it out either.
Cheers and thanks for tuning in,
Andrew & Mike, the Disconnected Gamers Podcast
