Slick Entertainment, the three-dev trio (redundant?) out of Vancouver, Canada has finally released their awesome game Viking Squad. If you’ve followed the game at all, it’s been at PAX East, PAX West (formerly Prime), and PlayStation Experience. It’s been all over, crushing barrels, feeding on the finest ham in the lands, and potentially some exquisite Viking lager as well.
It’s October 4th and that means that Viking Squad is now available for you to download on your Steam-ified computer or perhaps your PlayStation 4 gaming console!
If you can’t tell, I’m fairly excited. I’ve been a fan of this game ever since I got to play it a few years ago at PAX East. I met Nick, Jesse and Caley there and have been keeping tabs on this game ever since. It’s an awesome lane-based brawler that harkens back to the old school retro days of the NES when I used to play Turtles in Time with my brothers. Except now it’s incredible 60fps graphics, and it’s Vikings, not turtles.
If you don’t believe me, check out the trailer below.
Need I say more? No. I don’t. Except for these things.
Check out Viking Squad on Steam
Viking Squad on the PlayStation Store (May take some time for the PS Store to update with the game to be available to purchase on your PS4)
