PAX East 2016: Games You Should Check Out! (Part 1)

Hey there!

So here is a list and brief info about a bunch of games you should check out if you’re going to PAX East this weekend (April 22-24th) in Boston.

Game Title, Developer, Booth Location (if available)
Night In the Woods, Infinite Fall, Booth #6 (IndieMEGABOOTH Area)

From the developer: For the uninitiated, Night In The Woods is an adventure game with a focus on exploration and story, and a cast of characters you should really get to know. You’ll be doing a lot of running around, jumping from roof to roof, and doing all kinds of stuff with your hometown friends.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Nordic Games, Booth #5231

From the developer: Battle Chasers: Nightwar is an RPG inspired by the classic console greats, featuring deep dungeon diving, turn-based combat presented in a classic JRPG format, and a rich story driven by exploration of the world.

Randall, We The Force, Booth #11077

From the developer: Set in a dystopian world that doesn’t seem like a departure from our own future, society is content living under the constant surveillance and absolute power of a malicious dictator. In this police state players take on the role of Randall, a powerful telepath with a touch of schizophrenia. His abilities allow him to control and play as every single character on screen, seamlessly swapping between them and exploiting every power that they have.

GoNNER, Raw Fury, IndieMEGABOOTH Area

From the developer: Platformer, shooter, ever-changing levels, and super tough–it’ll give you those bouts of fury that Spelunky and Rogue Legacy bestowed upon you way back when.

While this is a small list of games, we thought it was a good idea to list off a few things for you to check out while you’re at PAX this weekend. Got any other suggestions to check out? Comment below or tweet us @TheDGCast on twitter! 😀

Expect another post like this with more games to check out while you’re visiting PAX this weekend too!
